About the Department
The Credit and Risk Management function is comprised of three teams: Risk Management, Credit and Special Asset Management. We manage the risks arising from the Group's business activities within the risk appetite established by the Board. This involves identifying and evaluating the risks, developing effective risk governance and strategies as well as providing independent assessment of the overall risk profile.

Job Responsibilities
  • Review, evaluate and approve (if within delegated credit authority) credit proposals and annual renewals of Banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions
  • Review and approve internal ratings based on rating models and ensure appropriateness of the ratings assigned
  • Engage business partners and stakeholders, as needed, to support timely execution
  • Keep abreast of industry and market developments to support forward-looking assessments
  • Play a key role in ensuring compliance with internal guidelines as well as regulatory requirements
  • Take necessary action to ensure that the Bank's interests are protected
  • • Participate in projects and/or workgroups to establish appropriate risk infrastructure and control


Job Requirements
  • 10 - 15 years experience as a credit analyst dealing with financial institutions (banks and non-banks), ideally with some credit approval experience. Some experience in client coverage or control function would be an advantage
  • Good analytical and writing skills - able to present balanced and objective assessments of credit proposals
  • Proficient in English. Fluency (written and spoken ) in Chinese or Bahasa Indonesia would be an advantage
  • Sound product knowledge, such as syndicated term loans, trade finance, asset securitization, global markets products and related documentation (ISDA/CSA,GMRA)
  • Team player with good communication skills, able to work with stakeholders across various locations
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Some travel may be required
