We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Marketing Operations.

Principal Responsibilities

Reporting to the VP the job holder will be mainly responsible for marketing operations, marketing process transformation and risk governance in the department CIM (Customer, International & Marketing). Responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for managing marketing monthly accruals and budget in consultation with Head of Marketing in order to meet the business objectives
  • Monitor and track marketing expenses incurred by stakeholders and provide analysis to highlight variances and issues
  • Drive market level budget management and AOP planning
  • Monitor and review the documentations provided by Marketing team to ensure the team maintain effective internal controls and compliance
  • Act as the CIM's representative for all financial budget and governance activities/duties e.g. Marketing Communications, Business Continuity Plan, Business information risk
  • Lead process improvement and governance activities at market level
  • Support Marketing Performance analytics and optimization
  • Provide an aggregate and updated calendar view of marketing activities across WPB to derive maximum value through effective forward integrated planning across media and channels
  • Leverage relationships with Finance, Business & Analytics to drive better outcome for marketing investment
Requirements

  • Agile and a self-starter with a passion for marketing and/or digital and able to work under pressure with a positive spirit
  • Team player yet able to work independently and lead on projects
  • Ability to influence, manage and build relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Creative & innovative with alternate options on improving the processes
  • Have a performance driven attitude and mindset
  • Energetic, versatile and be constantly ready to accept to perform duties beyond stated scope
  • Sound knowledge of marketing and accounting
Functional Knowledge/ qualification:
  • Degree Holder in Marketing/Business/Accounting related discipline preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience and preferably in financial services covering marketing and/or operations is preferred
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Proven ability to be a self-starter with energy and drive in a challenging and dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills to engage multiple stakeholders
  • Be a team player yet able to work independently and lead on projects
  • Have a performance driven attitude and mindset
  • Be energetic, versatile and be constantly ready to accept to perform duties beyond stated scope
