Senior Executive, Business Compliance (Middle Office)

(1) Customer Due Diligence/AML/KYC

Perform an independent review of Private Wealth Management clients' account opening AML/KYC profile for adequacy and compliance with legal, regulatory and policy requirements
Conduct appropriate due diligence checks and information searches to comply with bank standards of client onboarding as well as in accordance to the Group AML/CFT policy and procedures
Liaise with Relationship Managers and their Assistants to complete the required account opening AML/KYC profile and to provide advisory and guidance on AML/KYC requirements where required
To ensure timely review of clients' AML/KYC account opening profile
Proactively identify areas of improvement, suspicious AML or other non-compliance issues to relevant parties and management
Involved in management reporting and data analysis on account opening and AML/KYC reviews

(2) Audit Controls Testing and Requirements

Independently conducts monthly quality assurance control testing of Private Wealth Management's end-to-end process including sales to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory policies
Provide management with consolidated and holistic view of the risks within his/her area of responsibility, including proposals to mitigate or, when required, remediate corresponding risk

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree or its equivalent
More than 2 years of working experience in KYC/AML areas, risk or controls functions, preferably in Private Banking
Familiar with regulatory requirements pertaining to KYC / AML, e.g. MAS 62
Ability to be client centric while balancing business needs and controls
Excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships with Front Office stakeholders
An efficient solutions provider with strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
