Investment Analyst, Private Equity

Our Client is an emerging markets-focused manager investing responsibly in South and Southeast Asia, Middle East and Africa. We are looking for qualified and enthusiastic investment professionals to join our dynamic and growing platform.

As an investment professional, you will be expected to drive all aspects of the investment making and portfolio management process. Key job scope will include:

• Leading macro and industry specific research;
• Due diligence of investment hypothesis and prospects of target companies;
• Working with deal team on financial projections and analysis to underpin valuation discussions;
• Contribute to drafting of investment memorandums;
• Point lead on governance and monitoring all aspects of portfolio management
• Building and maintaining relationships in key markets
• Participate in all aspects of fund management across Gateway's key markets

Critical requirements are:

• 1 -3 years of relevant experience in mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance advisory, buy-side experience in private equity and / or credit investing
• Fresh graduates with sufficient internships with global investment banks or buy side firms will also be considered
• Self-motivated and goals-driven personality
• Solid academic credentials from reputable institution
