Core Functions/Responsibilities:
• Evaluating, undertaking due diligence, closing investments as well as monitoring the performance of portfolio companies and, where applicable, helping drive public listing or divestment
• Evaluation of and undertaking industry research, and financial analysis of target sectors and companies
• Driving due diligence, financial modelling, drafting of investment papers, co-ordination of internal approval processes and finalisation of legal documentation in transaction processes
• Establishing and cultivating relationships with companies, corporate partners and other relevant institutions
• Coaching and mentoring junior members of the team
Qualifications/Capabilities/Experience:
• Preferably a Degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering or Economics with good honours
• Preferably 4-6 years of relevant investment experience with a top-tier investment bank, corporate finance, M&A and/or accounting firm, with exposure to the SEA region
• Excellent academic credentials with strong analytical abilities
• High level of interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia (to liaise with Indonesian counterparts in discussions, negotiations and reviewing documentations)
• Able to work well within diverse teams and deal with multiple stakeholders
• Self-starter with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and to work independently.
