Fund Accountant - Family Office

• Our client is a well established family office based in Singapore focusing on investments into multi asset classes such as mutual funds, private equities and hedge funds and have an AUM size close to $1Billion. They are currently looking for a Fund Accountant, reporting directly to the Finance Manager to prepare the net asset value of their funds, financial statements, capital calls, GST submission and investment reports

Description

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities would include:

• Prepare and analyze all relevant accounting records, reconciliations and schedules for accuracy and completeness for the investment fund entities for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing in accordance with Financial Reporting Standards in Singapore ("FRS")

• Prepare the net asset value of their various funds and capital call statements

• Prepare quarterly GST remission reports for the investment entities and ensure timely and accurate submissions

• Assist with operational tasks of the Family Office entity (GST reporting, preparations of payments, etc) as assigned

• Prepare the monthly investment report in conjunction with the Investment team

• Support in liaising with external statutory auditors for annual external audits

Profile

To Succeed in this role, you should ideally possess:

• Degree in Accountancy or relevant professional qualifications

• At least 3 years of Fund Accounting experience in a preparer capacity

• Audit experience and experience in fund/ asset management industry are desired

• Familiar with FRS accounting treatment for the preparation of statutory financial statements of investment funds

• Strong fund accounting and reporting knowledge

• A team player with good organization skill and an eye for accuracy and detail

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of accounting system - SAP

Job Offer

• Hands on experience and great opportunity to be involved in both financial and fund accounting

• The cash remuneration for this role will range between $60,000 - $80,000 excluding other attractive benefits and bonuses
