Division Description
Enterprise Banking International's mission is to build a growing and sustainable ASEAN-Greater China corporates portfolio by banking their Trade and investment flows in/across OCBC Group's key markets of Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Greater China. The team is looking for dynamic individuals from diverse backgrounds ( culturally and digitally ) to drive existing businesses, explore new business model to capture the cross-border opportunities, unlocking value from New Economy and high-growth Industries. Singapore performs the role of a platform, test-bedding of new ideas from each of the key markets, drive partnerships and replicate successful models to the region. Tapping on digital insights with a customer centric solutioning team, we continue to leverage collaborative business models across the OCBC group to capture synergies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of credit propositions and credit reviews for the purpose of onboarding new-to-bank and existing customers referred by Bank of Ningbo (BON)
  • Understands the needs of the referred BON customers in different industry verticals, customising solutions to build a compelling proposition
  • Other than cross-sell OCBC Bank's products and services like cash management, treasury, corporate wealth, the role provides the opportunity to cover the regional markets when supporting BON customers' expansion into the region
  • Provides corporate advisory services to these companies including Investment Banking products & services, and regional referral to OCBC Bank Group's Branches/Subsidiaries in the region
  • End-to-end servicing and maintenance of customers relationship, including overseas visit to enhance our KYC capabilities
  • Develop, prepare, and lead initiatives jointly with BON counterparts to contribute to the customer acquisition drive


Qualifications
The ideal Candidate will meet the following requirements:
  • A recognized University degree acceptable to the Bank
  • Knowledge on credit underwriting and familiarity with credit policies
  • High agility in exploring new opportunities and an ability to think creatively
  • Has strong affiliation with data analytics and a curious mind!
  • Proven track record of business development
  • Willingness to work in an unstructured environment with space to explore and create new streams of income
  • High cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Organised and meticulous in handling documentation
  • Good command in spoken and written Mandarin, other than English
