SVP, IBG Digital Channels Product Manager (RAPID (API) and Connect (Host-to-Host)), IBG GTS

Business Function

The IBG Digital Team comprises of Channel Management, Country Management, Delivery Management and Digital Risk Management. This role resides within the Channel Management team which sets the Digital Channels strategy across products and segments regionally. As the product manager of the API and Host-to-Host connectivity products, you will be working closely with our regional product partners in Cash, Trade, T&M, CBG, and ecosystems to develop digital propositions that allow corporate clients to adopt new growth models, automate their Treasury operations to generate efficiencies, and manage risks.

You will be driving the commercialization of these digital propositions by partnering with our Sales, Client Management, Coverage and other key stakeholders across the region on complex client solutioning and co-creation opportunities to deliver business outcomes in the form of won mandates, transaction volumes, fees and balances. You will also be the leader for a cross functional squad developing solutions and improving payments and collections journeys for customers in Retail, Commerce and Services sector.

Responsibilities

• Define the regional product strategy, direction and priorities for new product development and regional initiatives

• Commercialize newly developed product propositions by partnering with Digital, Sales, Client Management and Coverage teams across the region

• Drive business outcomes in terms of won mandates, transaction volumes, fees and CASA from the products portfolio

• Provide pre-sales support for complex client deals/requests for proposals (RFPs)

• Lead Connectivity (API & H2H) product solutioning co-creation workshops with large corporate clients and ecosystem partners incl. developing cross-channel customer journeys.

• Drive product innovation to tap on emerging trends, new opportunities and client demand

• Ensure adequate controls to manage product risks and be fully compliant with regulatory requirements

• Play a product management custodian and approver role in legal agreements reviews and negotiations with corporate clients and/or ecosystem platform partners

• Lead for Retail, Commerce and Services (RCS) squad.

Requirements

• Experience in API & Host-to-host (including SWIFT FileAct) product management

• Domain knowledge in Cash Management / domain knowledge in Trade would be advantageous

• Well versed with security, systems and network architecture concepts

• IT background and professional qualification would be advantageous

• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

• People management skills - able to manage and influence multiple partners and stakeholders.

• Strong analytical skills

• Ability to think creatively to solve problems, invent / revamp customer journeys to support new business models and improve productivity / experience.

• Strong appreciation of regulations and legal frameworks would be advantageous

• Leadership experience of Agile squads
