About the Department
The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

Personal Financial Services
We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities
This role is part of the Group Retail Marketing team responsible for rolling out brand, product led, platform marketing programmes across the region (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam) for UOB Cards and Digital Banking.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Act as a brand custodian for market implementation in compliance with all HQ guidelines for brand consistency, provide strategic and tactical support to the markets and guidance and coordination of external agencies to drive branding, acquisition, usage and customer engagement.
• Creating a centre of excellence for branding, marketing proposition and content in terms of playbooks, tools, guidelines and sharing of best practices for the region
• Drive platform regional marketing activities, such as advertising, media, brand and product launches, tactical campaigns with alignment to HQ. This includes developing creative idea and concepts that aligns to HQ's marketing strategy and goals.
• Understand the needs of customers, industry trends, and the strategy and tactics of its competitors across the region; provide analysis and interpretation and formulate appropriate strategies and tactics; target key opportunities and tailor value propositions to establish differentiating plus sustainable advantage
• Work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders (Regional Product & usage HQ team, local marketing teams) to help define and design marketing strategies and communications across the region to ensure alignment of messaging, and success transfer.
• Negotiate and work effectively with creative and media agencies as well as other external vendors to ensure quality execution of marketing programmes.
• Managed budget used for Regional playbooks, Campaign master concept and KVs
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators, track and optimise allocated regional marketing budget and calendars to measure ROI from key campaigns.

Job Requirements

1. Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business
2. At least 5 years of Marketing or Brand Management experience in a financial institution (FI) or direct to consumer business model environment e.g. in FMCG, online marketplaces. Experience across APAC region or Asia is a plus.
3. Good or keen understanding of digital banking and the cards and payments landscape.
4. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial by nature, strategic, creative minded with a strong consumer focus, and experienced in media planning, digital and social media marketing.
5. Good branding/design sense with business acumen and able to express opinions on creative work.
6. Positive and energetic team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in teams and cross functions
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills with meticulous attention to detail.
8. Independent and strong ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to changing business needs and challenges.
