Portfolio Execution Group (PEG)
Portfolio Execution Group comprises teams involved in a broad range of functional roles including trade execution, treasury management, securities financing, beta replication and asset rebalancing, and applied quantitative research.

Global Trading Unit
You will be the first port of call for GIC's investment teams and external counterparties in all trading-related matters. You will be part of a team that is passionate about delivering informative and impactful market intelligence leveraging technology and superior research to achieve best execution.

Applied Research Unit
You will be part of the centre of excellence for quantitative research, specifically in the areas of market microstructure analysis and investment implementation solutions. Our in-house state of the art research and data analytics platform plays an integral role in driving GIC's investment teams in their investment decisions.

What impact can you make in this role?
You will be part of a team that seeks to deliver top-tier trade execution, to efficiently manage total portfolio liquidity, and to improve asset utilisation for GIC.

What will you do as an Executive Assistant?
Due to our growing business, Portfolio Execution Group (PEG) is hiring an Executive Assistant (EA) in Singapore to support Global Trading Unit (GTU) and Applied Research Unit (ARU), and to work alongside the existing team of Executive Assistants within PEG. The ideal candidate should be an organized and proactive professional who enjoys working in a fast paced and collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:
Provide secretarial support to the Global Trading Unit (GTU) and Applied Research Unit (ARU) leadership teams, along with providing administrative support for the broader team of investment professionals in Singapore and London:
  • Calendar management, schedule weekly/monthly meetings and support list of priorities for business head
  • Involve in travel arrangements and prepare itineraries for overseas business trips
  • Plan, arrange and coordinate department and team events/activities, such as townhalls, retreats, gatherings, etc
  • Manage and maintain department expenditure and budget, document expense declarations, process claims and reimbursements
  • Business administration support, including new hire onboarding, system access management, etc
  • Provide general secretarial and administrative support as required, such as filing, prepare meeting materials, process agreements that requires signing, etc
  • Plan and organize professional visits from Singapore or overseas guests
  • Part of a professional EA team within PEG to cover, support and assist while other EAs are away on leave

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in providing support to senior management, experience in supporting investment professionals is a huge advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Attention to details and ability to plan, prioritize and organize work independently
  • Dynamic team player, ability to collaborate well across different teams and regions
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience in financial service industries will be highly beneficial
