Role Overview
You will form part of the AEJ Asset Services and Tax Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for global tax reporting (i.e. FATCA, CRS and 1042), client and business queries regarding tax forms and related requirements, as well as more specific tax form/reporting requirements across different jurisdictions for Global Markets and Wealth Management clients, across AEJ entities.
With a strong focus on risk mitigation and control, you will be expected to manage all risks and exceptions associated with Tax Operations processing, addressing such items and ensuring full and timely escalation where appropriate.
In conjunction with processing, there is also a significant focus on client service. You will interact with multiple stakeholders on a daily basis. Quick query resolution and response is a must in order to maintain high levels of service.
You will work closely with the AEJ Tax advisory team to manage and answer day-to-day stakeholder queries, address reporting requirements and work on larger infrastructure implementation and process development.
Due to the ever evolving environment in the financial services industry, there will be multiple opportunities to be involved with both department specific, as well as bank wide projects. These range from restructuring and new product launches to FinTech delivery.

Responsibilities
• Deliver a full range of tax operations services in compliance with laws and regulations, within required timeframes
• Build relationships and interact with stakeholders to provide excellent service
• Identify and mitigate operational tax risks
• Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices
• Handle Tax Operations related queries for AEJ entities from clients, both internal and external
• Participate in the completion of annual global tax reporting
• Escalate risk in a timely manner
• Actively participate in process improvement, innovation projects and technology enhancements
• Perform all the ad hoc requests from the manager whenever applicable.

Requirements
• Tax Operations Experience within a financial institution
• Global Tax reporting experience (FATCA, 1042, CRS) a plus
• Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent working relationships
• Strong problem solving skills
• Languages - English
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Comfortable working with data
• Experience is strongly preferred
