Architecture & Infrastructure Team
You will help to build and sustain strong technology foundations forming the bedrock of GIC's digital solutions.

What will you do as an VP, Lead Infrastructure Architect, Technology Group?
  • Develop and maintain enterprise infrastructure architecture
  • Design and implement secure, highly available, and scalable infrastructure solutions
  • Develop a 3-5-year target infrastructure architecture
  • Create an implementation roadmap prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and technical feasibility
  • Establish and enforce infrastructure architecture standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement infrastructure solutions
  • Define and implement infrastructure automation strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase agility
  • Design and implement scalable, reliable, and agile cloud platforms
  • Advise project teams on selecting appropriate cloud platforms and services and assist with migration
  • Continuously monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure, stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies, and provide technical guidance and mentoring
  • Collaborate with CBO to define infrastructure strategy and ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Establish KPIs for infrastructure and develop systematic approach to measure and monitor progress
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, prioritize initiatives, and work with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions
What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or related field, with relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Expert, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • 8+ years' experience in infrastructure architecture with focus on hybrid cloud.
  • Proficiency in cloud architecture design and implementation on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • In-depth knowledge of compute, storage, networking, cloud, and end-user computing technology domains.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools and scripting languages, large-scale cloud migration projects, and implementing FinOps programs.
