FX Risk Manual QA Engineer - AVP (Hybrid)

We are currently building a new team that will be responsible for FX Risk platform. The team will be implementing new business-driven functionality, technical and regulatory-driven changes, QA Automation and DevOps. There is a set of old and new platforms that serve the Client's FX business in 38 countries by providing the ability for real-time derivatives pricing, risk management and data analytics. New initiative is starting to replace a set of the existing risk applications with new generation ones with web-based UI, server side computing and grid technology, distributed in-memory solutions. The new application is going to serve traders, sales and external clients. Solution needs to be scalable to cover multiple locations and meet latency requirements.

Team is growing fast and now we are looking for a strong and motivated Manual QA engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Creating new test cases basing on requirements, both functional and non-functional
• Conduct functional/performance testing.
• Perform integration testing which involves several upstream and downstream systems
• Coordinating UAT: setting up the environment, showing users how to use the platform, gathering issues and tracking their resolutions
• Issues root cause analysis and creating test report
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, quality assurance and support professionals
• Assist in the designing and implementation of automation frameworks
• Direct communication with stakeholders

Mandatory skills:

• Excellent analytical skills
• Proven experience in testing & quality assurance (3+ years)
• Solid understanding of application lifecycle and testing processes
• Experience in test case and test plan development
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and fluent/upper-intermediate English
• Knowing CI/CD approaches
• Have an experience of non-functional testing
• Experience of working with SQL based and document-oriented databases
• Experience of dealing with business stakeholders on the client side

Nice-to-Have skills:

• Knowledge in Investment Banking area
• Coding experience in Java and Python scripting
• Experience in TDD and automated testing tools
• Experience with OpenShift
