Role Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Front Office Quant and Model Validator on the mitigants of model limitations.
  • Design, implement, document, and submit different types of model overlays to Model Validator for review.
  • Maintain and enhance the Valuation Methodology (VM) working tools and scripts library.
  • Prepare FM model performance monitoring reports to share with other stakeholders.
  • Design, implement and document 1) the calibration of different parameters to Market Consensus for IPV use, 2) the new methodologies for the adjustments under VM coverage, for example bid-offer adjustment and Prudent Valuation Adjustment.
  • Provide ad-hoc support within the team on working tools, scripts, and methodologies.
  • Perform drill-down analysis when adjustments show an unexpected level, or when required by other stakeholders (for example Desk).
  • Participate in the maintenance of valuation model governance framework.

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Master's in financial mathematics or a PHD in quantitative area
  • 5+ years of working experience in quantitative finance.
  • Good understanding of financial derivatives and pricing models at least for one specific asset class.
  • Previous professional experiences in Credit, Rates or XVA is desirable.
  • Hands-on programming skills. Experience with functional programming language and Python is desirable.
  • Good communication and writing skills.
