Role Overview

The Regulatory Reporting Analyst will support product regulatory reporting requirements and analysis with a focus on improving the quality of the processes and strengthening the oversight of the work provided by - submission, review, QA'ing, analysis and modernisation of Transaction Reporting

Some of the activities you will be involved with
  • Perform daily regulatory reporting activity for MiFiD/ EMIR / SFTR transactions and post trade transparency
  • Completion of day-to-day reporting activities including monitoring and resolution of transmission exceptions and reconciliations between source systems and ARM/NCA
  • Remediation of exceptions by investigating, correcting and resubmission of erroneous reports
  • Monitoring and analysis of ETD / OTC derivative transactions for reporting eligibility to ensure completeness and accuracy of reporting
  • Maintenance of static data required for accurate reporting
  • Act as SME on all regulatory reporting matters for firm activities and projects
  • Production of Management information and key performance indicators on reporting production and quality
  • Participation in UAT and Implementation of new products and projects
  • Produce processes and procedures for the day-to-day operating of Transaction Reporting

Experience we are looking for
  • Experience across MiFiD II , EMIR, SFTR transaction reporting as well as other exchange specific reporting such as CME Large Trader Reporting, Commodity Position Reporting, and other exchanges...
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in regulatory Transaction Reporting (MiFIR and EMIR)
  • Minimum 1 years' experience in exchange transaction/position reporting
  • Experience across various asset classes including rates, credit, equities, derivatives , FX, Repo's and SLB.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Quick learner with the ability to translate, understand and digest technical knowledge on Regulatory processes
  • Proactive. Required to digest what is needed and make the role fit the needs
  • Understand and be fully conversant with Regulatory Reporting rules
  • Excellent communication skills: up/down/across
  • Good analysis and problem-solving skills, escalating any issues accordingly
  • Investigative and inquisitive nature; willing to challenge accepted practice
  • Experience working on projects (with good organisational skills)
