HSBC Wealth Management leads the Asia-Pacific implementation of our global strategy to deliver world-class solutions to retail and private clients seeking to grow, protect, preserve or transfer their wealth. This involves the development and management of needs-based solutions covering foreign exchange, deposit, investment, insurance and financing products, as well as the provision of suitable market insights and updates, financial planning and advisory services.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager/AVP - Bancassurance Products.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Develop strong customer value proposition insurance product solutions through product development, ensuring timely launch of products, campaigns and promotions, and successful end to end implementation across all distribution channels.
  • Responsible for approvals of products, campaigns and promotions including post-implementation reviews
  • To support the implementation of projects, business initiatives, strategies, and development of new business sales models to achieve high growth and profitability
  • Carry out User Acceptance Test (UAT), changes in product catalogue and product back log. Ensure all bug fixes are to reach desired outcomes and ensure smooth operational roll-out of Bancassurance / Financial Planning related services
  • To support development of robust sales processes along with our partnerships which adhere to sales quality framework and financial planning standards
  • To collaborate with data analytics team to develop dynamic propensity model to drive penetration, cross-sell opportunities, and management of pipelines
  • Assist in regular product meetings and steering committees, including deck preparation and minutes
  • To actively provide distribution support for insurance specialists, design and develop customer proposition materials for consumption
  • Be part of the risk owner for insurance business - continuous monitoring of portfolio revenue, penetration, persistency and to ensure customer fairness and work with our partners to help mitigate and resolve any issues
Requirements

Requirements
  • University (BA) or (BS) degree
  • Possess at least 6 relevant working experience in a leading financial institution
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a positive working attitude; meticulous and systematic with an eye for details
  • A good team player with the ability to work and cope under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in Bancassurance with a deep understanding of product management, sales distribution and marketing, sales processes, campaigns/promotions implementation and fulfilment would be a plus
