Role Responsibilities
The PMO - Corporate Affairs, Brand & Marketing supports Head of CABM Planning and Prioritisation to coordinate management of projects/programmes, providing support to Project/ Programme Leads, Product Owners, Process Owners as required on project/programme management related processes. The role holder adds great value to the Corporate Affairs, Brand & Marketing (CABM) function by increasing transparency of project progress and risks, standardising project management procedures, improving predictability of outcome and enabling better decision making. The role holder has strong analytical skills, is a self-starter with a 'can do' attitude, highly organised, self-motivated and is able to influence stakeholders and guide others in delivering changes
Business
  • Support the prioritisation of investments within CABM's investment portfolio, particularly in data quality assurance and adoption of new tools and processes
  • Support the evolution of QPR (investment governance) construct and the converge of QPR and Business Performance Forum
  • Support the preparation of QPR/MPR meetings and Corporate Planning/budgeting cycle
Risk Management and Project/Programme Governance
  • Manage the Project Management Standard (PMS) Assurance framework for the Project/Agile Deliveries/Programme, educate stakeholders on the applicable key controls and ensure compliance with policies and standards (e.g., ceremonies governance oversight, effective communication of LuW and DtW, Change Risk Assessment, Pre- and Post-customer go-live oversight)
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Project/Programme Leads on financial management, backlog management, OKR and benefits tracking and other change governance related matters; Ensure Impediments and Blockers are escalated appropriately
  • Identify potential areas where training and coaching are needed for Product Owners, Project Managers/Scrum Masters, and Process Owners, for increased awareness of corporate governance, clearer guidance for process and controls, and rapid adoptions of new platforms and ways of working
  • Liaising with ECM and support transition from New Ways of Working (nWOW) to Ways of Working (WoW), ensure baseline requirements are implemented for CABM COO to declare 'Day 1 Ready'
  • Work closely with CABM COO Risk Management team to manage monthly CST and related key control tracking
  • Act as secretary for the CABM COO related Refinement Forum, responsible for maintaining TOR and documenting meeting discussion, preparing for high quality and timely meeting material, identifying, and tracking of open actions and key issues
  • Centralise portfolio data (e.g., unified backlog, resource capacity view), maintain high quality of project data on multiple platforms and tools so that reliable insights can be drawn easily or automatically (e.g., Jira, Clarity, Plainview, aXess, Trello, ServiceNow, Teams & SharePoint, Microsoft Office)

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Degree from a reputable university or Institution, or business management related degree would be a plus
  • 5+ years' experience in financial industry, with proven track record in leadership role in Project Management
  • Project Management Certificate (PMP); Portfolio Management related certification is a plus
  • Agile or Scrum certification is a plus
Role Specific Technical Competencies
  • Good understanding of Project Governance
  • Experience in supporting Portfolio Management or Programmes
  • Business Analytic skills
