Our client, an endowment fund, is seeking a Senior Investment Manager to support the Investment Office in managing the investment portfolio and minimizing portfolio risks. The role will involve overseeing the Portfolio Management System (PMS) and Risk Management System, providing support for investment reviews and research, and training and developing the Investment Officer.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and develop the Portfolio Management System (PMS) to actively monitor fund manager trade activity, compliance checks, and manage day-to-day portfolio activity across public equity, fixed income, and alternative investments.
- Oversee and develop the Risk Management System to cover compliance monitoring, enhanced risk management structure (by asset class/by manager), and IT systems covering data management and analytics.
- Provide support for investment reviews and research, including data management and analytics of investment data.
- Provide support for Investment Committee (ICC) and Board of Directors (BoD) meetings as required.
- Train and develop the Investment Officer through on-the-job coaching and selecting suitable conferences/courses where required.
Requirements:
- A recognized degree in quantitative discipline e.g., Finance/ Economics/ Engineering/ Mathematics.
- CFA, MBA, or other advanced qualifications highly preferred.
- At least 5 years of working experience in quantitative research and analysis in an external fund manager setting preferred.
- Strong written communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior management.
- Strong understanding of investment products and processes.
