About the Department
Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.
We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.
Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement processes to enhance the control framework for the Division, in accordance with relevant Bank policies and regulations
  • Front Audit exercises and any other assurance reviews
  • Coordinate AML, CFT, Sanctions matters and Risk assessments (KRCSA, AMLCSA, Management Risk Awareness, Incidents, 3rd party non-outsourcing)
  • Perform MIS and regulatory reporting
  • Perform cash and stock reconciliation, validation of Nostro/General Ledger accounts, ensuring reconciliation is in good order with no outstanding breaks unaccounted for
  • Coordinate periodic scrip counts
  • Lead process review and share best practices
  • Provide guidance and training to staff, strengthen and inculcate a risk control culture
  • Lead and coordinate SOP reviews
  • Drive and support change for the Division and function wide Ops risk initiatives
  • Lead and provide directions to other CIOC locations in operations control
  • Provide operational support in terms of custody account maintenance and support for fees and billing activities
  • Oversee access administration and support BCP activities


Job Requirements
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in banking or other financial institutions with experiences in risk and assurance areas
  • Possess leadership qualities and a high level of influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic forward thinking approach to challenges with outstanding communications, influencing, negotiating and persuasion skills
  • Self-driven achiever with ability to work effectively
  • Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues
  • Working knowledge of Excel (business analysis), MS PowerPoint (slide writing)
