Reporting to the Head of Business and Strategic Initiatives Management, your key focus would be on business and market analysis and conceptualization of new or augmented service and products offerings, as well new ways of working or doing things. The role requires a strong ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and communicate, lead or facilitate discussions for decision making to achieve objectives and deliver practical results.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Understand the context of and frame the challenge or opportunity at hand to establish a common understanding or to facilitate ideation or decision making on issues across stakeholder groups.
  • Breakdown and organize issues to be addressed and devise plans to verify assumptions and identify key considerations to develop potential solution options within organisational constraints and management directives.
  • Collect, analyse, model and/or present structured and unstructured data and information for business decisions by stakeholders,
  • Coordinate, facilitate and/or lead discussions with stakeholders to assess available and discover alternative options.
  • Develop implementation plans to drive towards the agreed direction or solution.
  • Execute or manage implementation of action plans, and/or transfer the knowledge to implementation teams as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors / Master's degree (preferable) degree from a reputable university
  • Solution driven, outcome focused and embraces challenges in evolving and uncertain environments
  • Curious and has natural aptitude to quickly understand key elements of the business, product or service and/or processes in question,
  • Able to dissect, organise and frame complex issues for analysis, solutioning and communication with different stakeholders,
  • Numerate and experienced in data analysis and modelling
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to discover the necessary information from specialist stakeholders,
  • Has a pet interest in new technology (including the digital economy), investment or wealth management products and services,
  • Self-driven, persistent and independent,
  • Has relevant experience in or understanding of private banking and /or investment products and services as well as business and basic operational frameworks, and
  • 3-6 years of work experience preferably in management or business consulting.
