Role Description / Areas of Responsibility
• The candidate will be working within the AEJ Futures and Options team to:
• Manage the Futures and Options daily margin and SGX reporting functions
• Provide oversight and governance to the Clearing and Reconciliation functions that are performed by a vendor across APAC markets
• Responsible for ensuring control processes are effective in addressing risks within the function
• Engage regional stakeholders to review new business initiatives, and ensure relevant controls are in place to support business activities

Main responsibilities are:
• Ensure all processes and procedures are in compliance with internal/external policies and regulations
• Drive review of KRI and KPI to ensure all relevant risks (completeness) are captured in a timely manner
• Ensure issues are escalated appropriately, and drive agreed resolution with stakeholders.
• Represent the team in regional meetings with business and regional stakeholders to discuss projects, issues and outstanding risk items
• Perform trend and root cause analysis of KRI and KPI, to drive enhancements and improve the controls/ efficiency
• Ensure outstanding actions are closed out resolved by agreed timeline.
• Perform analysis of new business and projects with the team to map out the required controls and processes to support the new business/ projects.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education is required
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good analytical skills and ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Strong knowledge of the Futures and Options product and life cycle
• Familiarity with emerging/ disruptive technology such as robotics and/or macro/programming skills will be an advantage
