A global Fund Management firm is seeking a Channel Marketing Manager, Retail Southeast Asia (SEA) to join their team in Singapore. Reporting to the Retail Marketing Head, Asia, the successful candidate will support the company's growth in the retail channel within the SEA region by developing and implementing strategic marketing plans, deploying industry-leading marketing practices, and driving sales engagement with clients across SEA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop SEA Retail Client Marketing Plan in collaboration with the Retail Marketing Head, Asia
  • Implement SEA Retail Marketing initiatives to create awareness of investment capabilities and solutions, translate client insights into compelling propositions, and optimize opportunities that contribute to global and regional business growth
  • Define and clearly articulate Marketing plans and activity briefs to secure resources and commitment across key stakeholders in the region and globally
  • Think commercially and design multi-channel Marketing campaigns utilizing the full and most appropriate Marketing mix
  • Recommend budget requirements based on analysis of previous performance to optimize resources
  • Engage SEA Retail Sales team to fully integrate Marketing activity into Distribution efforts
  • Establish robust campaign management, delivering a set of coherent activities to meet specific objectives
  • Work with Digital Marketing to monitor and strengthen campaign audience targeting to drive relevance, resonance and personalization, and adopt an agile approach to actively monitor performance to optimize activity throughout campaigns
  • Project manage delivery of campaign assets (including advertising) to required timescales
  • Monitor progress against plan and budgets, flexing priorities and resources accordingly
  • Identify learning and development opportunities and seek to adopt Marketing best practices

Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, finance, or business administration
  • Minimum 10 years of marketing experience in the financial sector, with a proven track record in the asset management industry particularly in the retail channel in the Asia region
  • Strong knowledge of marketing tools and new technology
  • Excellent project management skills
  • A people manager with strong leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to foster and strengthen successful relationships with stakeholders
  • Results-driven, works through obstacles, and maintains accountability
  • Work with integrity, manage deliverables well and act as a company advocate
  • Light traveling is required for work purposes

The ideal candidate will be articulate, energetic, and an excellent communicator, with solid experience in delivering Marketing campaigns, events, and activities within the financial services industry. They should be results-oriented, able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, and work well within a team as well as independently. The Channel Marketing Manager, Retail Southeast Asia should be flexible and willing to learn, as the job will stretch the individual to strategize at a high level, as well as be hands-on on a day-to-day basis. This role requires a collaborative nature, as the Retail Marketing Head for Asia will work with colleagues across the globe, regional and country teams. The successful candidate will possess leadership qualities and be a high flyer to lead Retail Marketing for the Core Asia business.
