The CCB targets clients with revenues between $10M - $3B and support a range of financial solutions: treasury and trade solutions; term and working capital financing, and foreign exchange services. The Business provides specialty lending including Loan Syndications, Asset-Based Lending and Interest Rate Derivatives products. CitiBusiness Online & CitiDirect, Citibank's web-based banking platforms, support a full range of commercial domestic & global transaction and reporting capabilities in a secure environment.

Commercial Loan Product Manager is a mid-level position in Citi's Commercial Bank within the Commercial Loan Product Management organization which is responsible for a wide range of products and solutions as well as managing the Commercial Bank's loan product performance. This role is for a Vice President (C13) and will report to the Regional Head of Commercial Loan Product Management. Some of the regular responsibilities for the Commercial Loan Product Manager include:

  • Data Analytics : Consolidating, analyzing and presenting data from multiple sources in order to understand the present status of the commercial loan portfolio with the ability to forecast growth impacts. Data is also to be used for Senior Management and Regulatory presentation, analysis and submission.
  • Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of credit risk, experience both sponsoring and loan underwriting decisioning, as well as an ability to communicate and partner across the bank to represent the organization.
  • Product Leadership: Monitor and forecast the commercial bank's loan portfolio performance and will be responsible for improving the product's financial performance by supporting growth initiatives and improving profitability via participation in loan pledging and hedging programs
  • Project Management: Participate in various project management efforts like LIBOR to SOFR transition, Loan Pricing, New Product Approvals, ESG initiatives (Environment, Social and Government)
  • Risk & Controls: Ability to appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Past leadership responsibility or demonstrated potential to lead
  • Understanding of a commercial bank's lending business and loan operations
  • Advanced Excel knowledge and experience with data software such as Tableau, Power BI preferred
  • Strong communications skills and the ability to consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • High level of energy, enthusiasm and motivation
  • Team player, able to facilitate strong partnerships
  • Ability to embrace new technology and understand the role digital plays in the experience we deliver for our clients
  • Positive mindset with can-do attitude, willingness to go extra miles for providing sound advice and effective services to clients
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Potentially Masters degree/MBA degree preferred with concentration in economics, business, or financial engineering
