Temasek's Life Sciences team invests across the healthcare spectrum from therapeutics, diagnostics, medical devices, life sciences tools, digital health and healthcare services. Notable investments include Aerogen, Beigene, BioNTech, Celltrion, Halodoc, Pear, Thermo Fisher, Verily, Wuxi Apptec.

Core Functions & Responsibilities:
• Assist in the process of identifying and assessing investment opportunities in the Healthcare sector primarily in biopharmaceuticals and therapeutics
• Perform deal evaluation, due diligence, industry / company analysis and financial modeling to support the investment team
• Conduct fundamental research in key trends and emerging areas to form differentiated views for investment opportunities and for management of existing portfolio
• Manage existing portfolio assets to propose investment / divestment making decisions.

Qualifications & Capabilities:
• Ph.D. in life sciences or Doctor of Medicine equivalent. Ideally with 3 to 5 years of research and/or relevant work experience in the healthcare industry
• Demonstrated interest in Finance; preferably CFA Level 1 or equivalent
• Strong analytical capabilities and willingness to learn new skills quickly
• Self-starter with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and to work independently
• Good communication, interpersonal & team skills
• Comfortable with working in a cross-border, multi-cultural team-based environment.
