The Team:

The CIB Global Regulatory Change and Controls (GRCC) team sits within CIB Operations and is spread across Asia, EMEA and North America with responsibility for providing oversight, leadership and management of regulatory reporting controls agenda across CIB Operations. The team's remit covers:
  • Regulatory reporting change and advocacy
  • Definition, delivery and implementation of Regulatory Reporting Control Framework
  • Definition, delivery and implementation of Control Operating Models
  • Leading cross line of business regulatory projects
  • Leading the CIB's strategic transformational regulatory reporting program
  • Deep dives of the Regulatory Reporting Control environment
As a Business Analyst/Project Manager , you will be responsible for managing multiple, large, cross line of business, cross location project initiatives in the regulatory reporting change and controls work stream, to ensure JPMorgan's full compliance with evolving legislation from regulators. T his role partners extensively with Lines of businesses, Legal, Compliance, Audit, Technology and Corporate Operational Risk.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Review & manage the delivery of new regulatory reporting change projects.
  • Detail and syndicate business requirements of new regulatory reporting change projects with Operations and Technology, to allow each line of business to establish their functional build requirements to comply with new reporting regulations
  • Conduct impact assessment of regulations and communicate the regulatory change landscape to various cross asset operational teams and technology
  • Drive the design, delivery and implementation of strong and sustainable control frameworks and operating models in the regulatory reporting environment.
  • Actively participate in global programs in the regulatory risk space so that Asia requirements are aligned with global initiatives including strategic architecture for regulatory reporting, regulatory reporting standards & risk assessment.
  • Conduct deep dive on aspects of Regulatory reporting controls, provide oversight on regulatory reporting issues / breaches, ensuring that root causes are understood and remediation plans in place.
  • Facilitate and lead periodic calls with cross line of business, cross regional stakeholders to discuss ongoing change or controls activities.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum 6 years of overall work experience, with at least 3-4 years of experience in Business analysis/project management, within the financial services industry
  • Business Analyst skills to identify source of data, validating data, writing business requirements and testing reports.
  • Excellent project management & execution skills with the ability to plan, problem solve, prioritize and deliver against deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, with an ability to negotiate and influence different levels of stakeholders
  • Manage stakeholder expectations effectively, facilitate decision-making by providing right level of information and timely escalation when required
  • Knowledge of operational processes and controls, with good understanding of risk, controls and quality assurance functions.
  • Plan and report project status to senior management, identify, mitigate, resolve risk and issues across team & ensure completion of assigned project.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of Global Transaction Reporting (GTR) requirements for MAS / ASIC / HKMA / JFSA / Korea would be beneficial.
  • Experience in Alteryx or Tableau for building effective regulatory reporting controls
  • Prior experience in building or executing regulatory reporting controls like completeness, accuracy & timeliness .
  • Understanding of OTC Derivative products (Credit, Rates, FX, Equities and Commodities)
