In Asia Citi Global Wealth, combines the Citi Private Bank and the Consumer Wealth organization, including the International Personal Bank, into a single platform to serve our clients. CGW Asia is a top three wealth manager in the region with over US$300B in clients AUMs and is looking to add in excess of US$150B AUMs by 2025 and further extend our leadership position in Asia.

The Human Resources (HR) Advisor Senior Lead is a senior level position responsible for leading the delivery of day-to-day HR support in coordination with the Human Resources team.The overall objective of this role is to provide a broad range of HR services to client groups within an assigned organization.

The Citi Global Wealth (CGW) HR Advisor Senior Lead will provide oversight and lead the HR Strategy to deliver the CGW growth plans for the business independently, in partnership with International Personal Banking (IPB) Head and the regional Asia Pacific CGW Team.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business leaders specifically in the CG/ CPC & CGW Product and HR Specialist areas (e.g. Compensation, Resourcing, Learning and Development) to design, plan, and implement broad HR programs, policies, and procedures to achieve desired HR goals
  • Partner with Senior Leaders in recommending, developing, and/or executing Human Capital strategies to achieve business goals of Integration & growth
  • Coach seniors leaders on how to improve their individual leadership skills, focus on talent, differentiate performance, embrace diversity, and
  • Strengthen the culture of assigned business groups
  • Assess current organizational talent and ensure employee performance is differentiated and appropriately recognized
  • Align people resources with appropriate business strategy
  • Assess, identify, and diagnose business problems and opportunities
  • Create, implement, and measure the effectiveness of initiatives that promote organizational/leadership capability
  • Develop new approaches, policies, and procedures to encourage continual improvements in business and HR efficiency/effectiveness, and lead change management initiatives
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Contribute to several critical HR projects in CGW Region and Global including Cultural integration, Retention / EVP in the competitive wealth market ; Policy & process integration in Combined CGW Organization
  • The role plays a significant role in advising and working with the business to mitigate HR capital risk, demonstrating particular consideration for the bank's reputation and safeguarding Citi by ensuring compliance with Singapore's employment framework and MAS regulations.
  • The role requires an understanding of the local competitive landscape of major banks and Wealth players in Singapore. The incumbent needs to partner with Senior Leaders in recommending, developing, and/or executing Human Capital strategies to achieve business goals of Integration & growth.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in training
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
