Your opportunity
  • Be the lead account manager on large and strategic institutional clients.
  • Be responsible for resolving non-investment related client queries or ensuring appropriate delegation.
  • Lead and manage mandate onboardings, changes and terminations as detailed in the client account management procedures.
  • Proactively manage clients, maintaining regular contact to meet their requirements, notifying them of product changes and responding to queries relating to third party administrators, transfer agents, custodians, and internal departments.
  • Conduct quality check review and compliance of RFP, RFI etc. as required.
  • Ensure that monthly and quarterly reporting obligations are completed for respective channels.
  • Ensure timely compliance of all client materials in line with the compliance procedures.
  • Work with the institutional marketing team to implement marketing initiatives.
  • Understand and articulate our clients' mandates to our internal stakeholders
  • Use technical knowledge and experience to ensure the administration of the clients' funds run efficiently - e.g., transitions, accounting queries, settlement queries, custody, cash movements and tax matters.
  • Communicate our services, products, and SLAs with clients and third parties.
  • Lead meetings with client and senior colleagues - e.g. portfolio reviews, ongoing due diligence.
  • Be the subject matter expert, lead members of the client account management team with all aspects of client activity and be able to offer solutions to complex queries.
  • Maintain the client database and ensure all client information is up to date. Record all communication and activity with clients in line with departmental procedure.
  • Ensure all regulatory Financial Crime requirements are updated annually.
  • Ensure all regulatory requirements are understood and procedures are followed.
  • Maintain and improve your own investment and market knowledge.
  • Present in internal / external meetings where required.
  • Be willing to mentor members of the client account management team
  • Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills
  • At least 10 years' of experience in client servicing/account management within the asset management industry
  • MAS or SFC License required
  • Prioritisation and time management skills
  • Detail orientated
  • Lead internal and external meetings
  • Strong presentation skills. Be able to present internally and externally
  • Good awareness of what's happening in markets. Be aware of the implications of market trends
