Major Responsibilities:
  • Executing trades across cash bonds and derivative instruments in Asia credit.
  • Understanding of credit fundamentals and how technical and others factors influence the valuation for various Asia issuers and wider impact to names in related industries.
  • Possess a firm macro-economic foundation, and ability to interpret other market instruments such as rates, currencies, and equities to arrive at market assumption and implications
  • Knowledge of Portfolio Management, and experience in generating alpha-adding ideas in real time across multiple regional and global strategies.
Position Requirements:
  • Demonstrated ability to generate ideas/strategies and/or execute trades to enhance portfolio returns and mitigate risk.
  • Strong academic credentials and achievement.
  • Demonstrated experience working as a liaison between groups.
  • Desired experience may come from sell or buy side or both.
Critical Competencies for Success:
  • Bachelor Degree Required/Advanced Degree a plus.
  • A keen intellect and strong quantitative skills, demonstrated through an ability to recognize inter-related market opportunities and develop strategies for capturing such opportunities.
  • Comprehension of the interplay between top-down and bottom-up investment drivers.
  • Ability to work across the organization in a collaborative manner.
  • Strong communication skills, internally and externally.
