Job Responsibilities:
-To support in establishing and/or further enhancing relationships and promote business collaborations between SMBC's investee partners in APAC region and SMFG. To support independent business-oriented reserch involving the business/operations of these investee partners.
-To support enhancement of corporate gevernance for relevant investee companies in APAC region
-To handle "business as usual (BAU)" items including but not limited to regulatory & governance matters, regulatory/periodic reporting and supporting representative/nominee Directors/Observers from SMBC, support their logistics - meeting, travel writing reports etc.
-To support Tokyo Head Office requests and/or regulatory reporting such as impairment testing of investee companies and reporting to stakeholders in Tokyo/Singapore
Requirements :
- At least 5 years of related/relevant working experience in banking
- Strong communication skills (written/spoken)
- Strong MS office proficiency (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
- Good follow-up skills, adaptable and good learning agility
- Team player
- Proficient in English, additional proficiency in Japanese is a plus, but not essential
