About the Department

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

This position is part of the Global Funds & Financial Sponsors ("GFFS") team in Singapore within Global Financial Institutions Group. We are looking for a Relationship Manager / Coverage Banker to drive client relationships and business growth with clients in the GFFS segment for real assets including real estate, data center, infrastructure, renewables, logistics, student accommodation, hospitality etc. You will cover existing and new clients in Singapore and in the region, working with Global Relationship Managers, product partners and key internal stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of banking solutions and end-to-end deal execution to meet the financing and investment needs of your clients. You will be responsible for all aspects of client management from compliance/KYC due diligence for onboarding & periodic reviews, term sheet & credit structuring, overseeing documentation and operational aspects of the products and services provided, as well as managing the risk aspects of client portfolio including credit applications and reviews.

Job Requirements
  • Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration or Banking & Finance preferred
  • Relevant experience in coverage of real assets clients
  • Good real assets credit structuring skills and experience in execution and completion of large transaction closing
  • Good understanding of the financial industry and suite of banking products/services including Global Markets, Transaction Banking, Capital Markets and lending
  • Resourceful individual with strong initiatives and positive attitude who is also a team player
  • Dynamic, dedicated, self-driven and highly motivated
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
