Responsibilities
As the Head of Employee Experience Technology for Property Technology, you will be a key member of the Property function and interface actively with Technology, Transformation and Operations functions to define and support the delivery of twice the experience to our colleagues and clients by driving and managing the convergence of digital and physical spaces.
As a highly experienced and visionary senior experiential technology lead you will be responsible for overseeing the definition of requirements, working with technology partners, tech and property project delivery functions and standards owners to define business case, collaborate and partner to enable successful implementation of experiential technologies with careful consideration of operational requirements, investment required and associated governance in both our office and branch networks. Strategy
- Lead the development of a comprehensive strategy for the successful deployment of experiential technologies in the workplace, including but not limited to augmented and virtual reality, location, occupancy and gesture-based interfaces, and other emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement Property technology related standards, policies, and procedures. This will require senior stakeholder management skills due to the, at times, conflicting demands of the business.
- Manage and oversee the governance of experiential technologies to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards, as well as compliance with group policies, standards, controls, roadmaps, strategies, and guidelines.
- Ambassador to TTO to determine the appropriate risk and architectural outcomes to ensure a leading employee experience within a pre-existing governance framework. Negotiation and risk materiality assessments will be key.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify and assess business needs and opportunities for experiential technologies and develop plans to leverage these technologies to improve business outcomes.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of experiential technology solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, technology vendors, and industry experts to stay up to date on emerging trends and best practices in experiential Property related technologies.
- Closely collaborate with TTO Technology partners providing product feedback and requirements to enable delivery of fit for purpose capabilities.
- Engage with business stakeholders and users across the Bank to ensure solutions are meeting needs
- Work with peer functions (e.g., TTO and HR) to ensure alignment of activities with other employee experience strategies and plans
- Manage relationships and interface with cross-functional and cross-team technology stakeholders, including owning the relationship with HR and Finance digitisation leads
- Lead with expertise the adoption of Agile and HCD, and supporting the training of others
- Develop and evolve mechanisms and methods to gauge the effectiveness of our technology delivery plans
- Partner with EUS to co-define standards to support deployment of experiential technologies, including but not limited to AV, space booking and on desk and in branch tech that seamless works with us already on boarded enterprise platforms. Property is responsible for the design and delivery of products which transition to EUS for in-life ownership and management.
- Ensure solutions agreed and delivered are complaint with Bank and regulatory standards such as DQMF, GIS, BIA, Data Privacy, Country Regulations amongst others
- Cyber controls appropriate for IoT
- Responsible for Audit responses and horizon risks associated with emerging technologies
- Support the COO on the definition and monitoring of KPIs for the delivery of the Protect capital works programme which represents ~30M of investment per year and 18 NEWs/FTE
- Partner with the Head of Capital Projects and EUS the in-year Workplace tech programme (definition, cost, time & prioritisation) ensuring high levels of internal engagement in the prioritisation process within the Property family and transparency and accuracy for the overall programme reporting and delivery
- Define use cases and requirements for Workplace technology products.
- Review operational and customer feedback to support remediation, in partnership with the Data and Analytics Lead, where required
- Identify attribute risk and controls issues and work with BAU systems owners to remediate

- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
- Stay up to date with the latest workplace & retail banking technology trends and innovations and ensure that the Bank remains competitive and at the forefront of experiential technology developments.
- Ensure that workplace technology products and solutions meet regulatory and compliance requirements, such as data privacy and information security standards.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to deliver high-quality technology solutions and negotiate contracts and service level agreements with vendors.
- Collaborate with Property Technology and other stakeholders to develop and manage the experiential Property technology budget and financial forecasts and ensure that costs are in line with the Bank's overall financial goals and objectives.
- Work with the Data and Analytics team to ensure that workplace technology solutions are fully integrated with the Bank's data and analytics capabilities, and that data is used effectively to drive productivity and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation and develop and implement lean processes and workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Represent the Bank at industry events and conferences and contribute to thought leadership and knowledge sharing initiatives within the workplace technology community.
- Build and maintain a strong network of external contacts and partners, including technology vendors, consultants, and other industry experts, to stay abreast of the latest workplace technology trends and best practices.
- Property: Regional & Country Heads of Property, COO of Property, Global Head of Property Technology & Data, Global Head of Workplace, Global Head of Property, Global Head of Branch Transformation
- Non-Property: CCIB, Finance teams (Business supporting, Property Supporting, others), GSF Risk, CPBB, (Group, Region, and Country Heads, Global Head of End User Services (EUS) and other Business and Function stakeholders
- Preferably a bachelor's degree in Technology, Real Estate, Information Systems, or other workplace effectiveness related discipline
- 12+ Years of experience into technology deliverables
- Certified in Agile Scrum (Scrum Master / Product Owner) and PMP or equivalent
- Knowledge of facilities / real estate market as well as keen understanding of customer service principles
- Strong understanding of fundamental Corporate Real Estate knowledge domains
- Strong understanding of Business Intelligence concepts, data visualization tools (Tableau & MicroStrategy), analytics, data tools & technologies (Dataiku, Hadoop, Exasol), and Machine Learning / AI
- Exceptional leadership capabilities and experience managing large multi-disciplinary teams
- Experienced with both Agile and Scrum project management methodologies
- Experienced with Programme Management across simultaneous Technology and Property workstreams
- Experienced in developing and refining operating models and strategic initiatives
- Experienced with prioritisation of activities, executing strategy, and delivering impactful outcomes
- Strong experience in change management (developing, executing, and governing the strategies) across Global initiatives within a Corporate Real Estate function
- Strong understanding of the workplace team function including the workplace experience, project management design and energy, engineering, and environment workstreams.
- Effective influencing and communicating skills
