Trade Support / Middle Office Associate

The successful candidate will manage the trade lifecycle daily activities of all the portfolio managers trading Equity and Fixed Income products across APAC. He/ She will perform daily T+1 trade, position & cash reconciliations, working with prime brokers and external counterparties to resolve exceptions and discrepancies. He/She will manage Corporate Actions / Asset Servicing and Equities Syndicate deal processing procedures, ensuring accurate processing of all mandatory and voluntary corporate action events, as well as inventory controls and tax processing.

Additionally, he/she will lead projects and initiatives and provide a control framework with the Asia Operations team. He/She will review and analyze on an ongoing basis the workflows and procedures across all product types, to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization, as well as controls.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• Bachelor qualified
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge in Equities, Bonds, Convertible Bonds, and Equity Swaps as primary. May also be expected to cover Futures, Options, FX, Commodities, and other OTC Derivatives.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Quick learner, able to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, high sense of urgency
