We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Associate, Global Trustee and Fiduciary Services.
Principal Responsibilities
- To lead and manage a team Trustee and Fiduciary Services in Singapore
- Assist and report on financial planning to achieve cost targets set for the team
- Ensure provision of service quality across Trustee and Fiduciary Services disciplines
- Management of operational processes to meet or exceed service level requirements
- Accountable for continuous process improvement of existing processes and migration of new functions from the onshore business partner
- Drive key employee initiatives to promote and position HSS as the employer of choice
- Ensure appropriate allocation of resources and scheduling
- Ensuring that duties as Trustee are performed in accordance with applicable IGSA / PLA'S / operational procedures
- Maintain excellent relationships with the Off Shore teams communicating with them in a professional, clear and concise manner and meeting all deadlines
- Provide accurate Management Information Statistics in a timely fashion as agreed on a case by case basis
- Complete periodic reviews of procedures, utilizing knowledge and understanding of tasks
- Bachelor's Degree
- Candidate will have extensive working experience in the securities industry, to include: Knowledge of clients and products across range of securities services, Management position with exposure to business partners across multiple geographical locations, Management position with exposure to remuneration, performance management, team building and staff development. Fund Administration/Custody, with experience in Pricing, Reconciliations and GAV/NAV preferred
- Strong presentation skills, ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively in English, both oral and written
- Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with a proven ability to prioritise competing demands and communicate this effectively
- Proven ability to execute and deliver change, within an operational context
- Understanding of HSBC's GB procedures would be desirable
