Role description:
• Financial reporting role within the Financial Control Division
Responsibilities:
• Leading the Singapore country monthly, quarterly and annual reporting close, both Local (IFRS) and Group (USGAAP).
• Transaction review and analysis including engagement with stakeholders across the organisation.
• Technical interpretation, advisory and implementation of Accounting Standards.
• Managing key stakeholders and being a trusted partner to support business growth and initiatives
• Managing the monthly and quarterly taxation reporting and completion of the annual tax returns (ECI and Final tax return).
• Managing the annual audit process for Singapore entities.
• Leading the implementation of process and control efficiencies.
• Managing monthly and quarterly MAS statistical reporting e.g. MAS 1003, Income & Expenditure etc.
• Effective management of the offshore team.
• Maintain and enhance the overall control and governance framework.
• Document and maintain process narratives and ensure compliance with internal control standards.
• Represent Finance Control in local and regional strategic project initiatives.

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
- Minimum 8 years' working experience with Banks, Financial Institutions or Big Four Audit Firms.
- Qualified accountant (Singapore CPA, ACCA or equivalent qualifications).
- Experience in taxation and managing teams.
- Strong interest / demonstrated expertise in data management (e.g. Alteryx, BI Tools etc.).
- Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Must be able to work well under tight deadlines and handle multiple responsibilities.
