This role reports to Coda Payments' Chief Financial Officer who, among other areas, oversees the group's corporate development, financial planning, Board and investor relations and reporting, and oversees multiple other internal strategic initiatives

Responsibilities:
    • Strategic internal projects: project manager for major internal initiatives, such as geographic and product expansion. Collaborate closely with CFO and commercial / GTM organization to help design and operationalize strategies around key account management, pricing
    • Market intelligence: keep abreast of key industry and country developments, and competitors' responses. Run relevant benchmarking and intelligence gathering exercises, with a view to making recommendations to C-level executives, as needed.
    • Commercial finance: support FP&A team and finance business partners around corporate-level financial decision-making, target setting, scenario planning, and defining investment requirements
    • Investor relations: assist CFO, FP&A team, and other key executives on Board and investor updates, presentation materials, and analyses
    • Corporate development: provide end-to-end support on capital raising and M&A transactions (buy-side or sell-side)
    • Other business initiatives: engage and collaborate with company leaders and other functional leads to support - in conjunction with finance business partners - robust business analysis. Deepen the wider organization's ability to back-up key initiatives and proposals with robust financial analysis
Requirements:
    • Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, or a related field
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in investment banking, private equity & venture capital, management consulting, or corporate development. Experience in strategic finance within a high-growth, technology-led company a plus
    • Demonstrated capacity to operate independently
    • Exceptional analytical skills, with a proven ability to use structured and unstructured data to make compelling, data-led arguments
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to collaborate with a globally-dispersed, diverse team of colleagues
