Are you interested in working in FinTech? We are looking for a self-motivated, quick-thinking, and capable Social Media Intern to support the Social Media function at Funding Societies. The Social Media Intern will be responsible for supporting the team to assist with social media and PR planning for Funding Societies. This role is based in Singapore.
The Social Media Intern will also be collaborating cross functionally with the immediate Marketing Communications teams (SME Marketing, Investor Marketing, Brand, PR and Content).
What you will do:
  • Assist in managing and drafting the content for Funding Societies' various social media platforms
  • Help with the idea generation, including the execution of the monthly marketing initiatives across all social media platforms
  • Sharing related content from partner brands and organisations with their social media audience
  • Explore and suggest creative ideas for Funding Societies' various social media platforms (creativity on video content platforms (i.e. IG Reels & Tik Tok) is a plus.
  • Coordinate with the creative team/agency for the ideation creative process that covers planning, stakeholder and feedback management
  • Carry out research for team projects
  • Analyse social media numbers regularly
  • Prepare periodic reports for review by reporting manager
  • When required, to attend to any other ad hoc tasks assigned


Requirements
What we are looking for:
  • Have an interest in communications and social media
  • Have some knowledge of the Financial Technology industry
  • Have excellent comprehension and communication skills to manage different stakeholders when performing assigned tasks
  • Is an organised multi-tasker who's able to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Is someone with good understanding of the digital content writing nuances, which include social media captions (the use of hashtags, emojis, acronyms)
  • Be familiar with editing tools such as Photoshop/ Canva, additional experience with content creation is a plus
  • Undergraduates/fresh graduates with a Marketing/Communication/PR degree.
  • Compassionate to understand customers' needs based on the interactions via social media platforms.
  • Be willing to fulfill the duration of the internship requirement for a minimum of 3 months (maximum 6 months)
  • Undergraduates/fresh graduates with a University degree or Polytechnic diploma in Marketing/Communications/English or relevant fields of study.
  • Able to commit to the internship period: 5 working days for a minimum of 3 months (maximum 6 months)
  • SEO knowledge and experience with editorial content creation is a plus, even if not professionally.
