Public Equities
We generate sustainable, superior returns through active investments across global equity markets. Strategies include relative return strategies, absolute return strategies, and quantitative strategies.

What impact can you make in this role?
You will be part of a team that pursues active management strategies in equity investing.

What will you do as a Public Equities Investment Analyst?
  • This buyside investment role supports specialists who research stocks and manage sector portfolios in Asia-Pacific ex-Japan; consumer sector experience preferred but not essential
  • Conduct primary due diligence on portfolio companies or candidates, through corporate engagement, site visits, value-chain analysis, consultation with experts and other investors, meetings with suppliers, customers, competitors, and on-the-ground data collection.
  • Synthesize insights from multiple sources secondary research, into views on industry direction and recommendations on individual stocks.
  • Assist in building and maintaining financial models, preparing team reports and write-ups for senior management and clients

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
  • 1 to 3 years' work experience as an entry-level equities research or investment banking analyst
  • Ability to learn quickly and can work independently after initial guidance
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and produce deliverables in a timely manner
  • Possess a good understanding of financial concepts and strong in financial modelling
  • Ability to collaborate and work well with other investment professionals in doing research projects or due diligence on companies
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including building rapport with investee companies
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to do on-the-ground work - this role will require travelling in Asia
  • Have the intellectual curiosity and drive to conduct deep-dive due diligence from scratch on new stock ideas
  • Exhibits second-order thinking, a passion for investing, and the potential to manage money over time
