About the Department

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will join our Fixed Income team covering high grade corporate credits with focus on US and Asia/ EM.
The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for covering certain corporate sectors and is expected to provide investment recommendations that add value to a broad range of client portfolios. The individual will regularly interact and collaborate with other investment professionals at the firm, including other credit analysts, , portfolio managers and equity analysts.

Candidate has to:
•Demonstrate an understanding of the fundamentals of corporate analysis i.e. the methodology and thought process that all credit analysts should go through in making a credit decision.
•Identify and analyze the important factors for different companies and the sectors they are in, and make a credit decision.
•Build spreadsheet models, financial risk analysis, cash flow forecasting and financial ratios to determine a company's creditworthiness.
•Be responsible for providing industry, company, financial and valuation analysis to support your investment recommendations.

Job Requirements

Job Requirement
•A degree holder with at least 3-5 years' relevant experience covering corporate credits
•Numerate and analytical
•Proficiency in IT tools and application such as Excel, Bloomberg is preferred
•Ability to understand and interpret various programming languages such as R, Python is desirable
•A team player, and committed to learn and adapt to changes in research coverage, and willing to take on added responsibilities as and when the need arises.
•Highly self-motivated and be prepared to work under tight deadlines.
