Position Purpose

- Allowing the BAU Operational teams to deliver against service requirements by freeing up a dedicated population of SME's to support clients and business growth.
- Build business capability to provide the organisation with global Middle Office expertise to support the delivery of transformational projects and client requests (change controls).
- Professionalise the value add delivery to our clients through expert knowledge and skills whilst enhancing the efficiency of our operating models

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

 Change Request raised by MO client
• Where any operational change is required to support a client request or for standardisation/efficiency
• A member from our team will own and deliver the required business model adjustments and modifications, in partnership with BAU teams and IT where required.
• Our team will ensure the BAU teams are ready to operate and will liaise with their Operational Team Lead/Manager and/or Global Process Owners to validate and sign off any changes prior to go live to ensure all efficiencies, controls and SLA's can be delivered.
• Meet Client expectations and deliverables

Project Support
• Team member will utilise their SME capability to update existing operating models and define new processes to support the project requirements
• A critical component of our role in Project Support is direct client facing engagement where we are able to utilise our expertise and knowledge to outline the detailed proposition for Middle Office processing and operational capability

 Other Change the Bank initiatives
• Team member needs to act as Middle Office SME across Change Control and Projects
• Ranging from client focused continuous improvement programs to Global Middle Office strategic development, Change Control Business expertise and Project Operational Readiness
• Our team works towards process stream lining and creating efficiency

• Represent Operations on local/global initiatives and projects.
• Deliver excellent levels of service to stakeholders internally and externally and to "get it right first time"
• Responsible for ensuring the best client (external & internal) experience
• From time to time, may be appointed to spearhead particular project for internal purpose or for a particular client.

• Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work in pressurized environment
• Highly structured and methodical in execution
• Plan and manage the technical analysis approach on a project
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads, strong time management skills

• Ability to understand and resolve or escalate issues quickly
• Comfortable dealing with senior individuals and management across functions
• Strong knowledge of financial industry with good experience across asset classes
• Proven track record in client facing roles
• Take ownership where multiple teams are involved and act as a coordinator across functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient issue resolution.

Specific Qualifications (if required)

• At least 7 years' relevant experience
