Public Equity (EQ)
We generate sustainable, superior returns through active investments across global equity markets. Strategies include relative return strategies, absolute return strategies, and quantitative strategies.

Emerging Markets Strategy
Our strategy comprises the Asia Total Return and Global Emerging Markets teams.

The Asia Total Return is a team of sector and country specialists that invests across Asia Pacific. We run a team portfolio and invest in high quality structural growth market leaders in Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Emerging Asia Markets. Our long-term orientation, strong relationships with corporates and benchmark agnostic investment style provide us with opportunities to capitalize on market volatility to deliver strong investment performance.

The Global Emerging Markets team invests in companies operating in Emerging markets. Combining top-down macro views and bottom-up stock analysis, we seek to uncover companies that are exposed to structural emerging market growth drivers. While we cover all emerging markets, we have particularly strong on-the-ground expertise in Latin America, Emerging Europe, and the Middle East, where we have been investing for more than a decade.

What Impact will you make in this role?
You will be part of a team that pursues active management strategies in equity investing.

What will you do as an Executive Assistant?
  • Provide secretariat and administrative duties to a team of investment professionals
  • Manage schedule, arrange and coordinate internal (e.g. team meetings, investment committee meetings etc.) and external meetings, upload documents onto relevant applications
  • Organize business trips and prepare travel itineraries (i.e. book all aspects of business travel - flight, hotels, taxis, restaurants)
  • Keep track of correspondences and ensure proper maintenance of records
  • Organize and maintain electronic files (via Enterprise Document Management System/EDMS), handle general correspondence, and expedite urgent, confidential and important correspondence to appropriate personnel
  • Track and maintain staff welfare expense, claims and reimbursements
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support as required (e.g. filing, photocopying, prepare documents for signing)
  • Receive and welcome visitors to the office as and when required
  • Support on legal and compliance declarations and documentation for the team
  • Work closely with executive assistants internally and externally across departments to coordinate team activities such as welcome and farewell sessions, year-end department gatherings and events

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in supporting secretarial and administrative support to a team of professionals
  • Ability to be a dynamic team player and collaborate well across different teams
  • High learning agility with good pro-activeness in problem solving and striving for greater efficiency and effectiveness in task management
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks, prioritize and meet engagement deadlines
  • Good communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Good general knowledge of IT equipment and usage, Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook
  • Experience in or strong knowledge of the asset management or finance industry is an added advantage
