Position Purpose

Contribute to the growth of the Supply Chain Management group activities in APAC, with a particular focus on South East Asia.

Key Responsibilities

Understand client's requirements, identify and originate profitable supply chain solutions in close relation with Coverage, TBA and SCM marketers:
- Strategic Marketing: industry/sector analysis, peers analysis, cash conversion cycle analysis
- Client Marketing: organize client meetings and identify opportunities together with senior marketers
- Produce and review pitch books and customized term sheets
- Participate in Clients' calls together with sales forces
- Follow-up leads and update pipeline reports
- Identify new prospects through network referrals
- Identify and elaborate sustainable finance solutions, in collaboration with the SCM marketer and the TB APAC Head for sustainability

Structure Supply Chain Management solutions (receivables purchase, supplier financing programs...) where risks are adequately mitigated:
- Credit analysis: due diligence, drafting / review of GTS support memos to be presented to credit committees
- Distribution: liaise with Insurance Group and Trade Distribution to distribute risks
- Legal Documentation: drafting/negotiation of legal agreements
- Participate in credit committees for the presentation of solutions
- Pricing: calculate profitability metrics to ensure adequate return on capital

Implement and deliver Supply Chain Management solutions, in a timely manner:
- Coordinate with Back Office and Implementation Managers, the design of workflows suitable to clients' operational requirements whilst minimizing operational workload for the Bank.
- Ensure smooth execution of transactions, by coordinating with documentation team and other relevant functions.
- For Supplier Financing Programs, coordinate on-boarding of suppliers in collaboration with the Supplier Relationship Managers, including marketing of the solution to suppliers (when required), execution of legal contracts, and operational implementation.

Manage existing portfolio of transactions:
- Prepare annual reviews for credit approvals
- Manage exceptional requests and counterparties stock, in conjunction with Client / Credit Insurers and internal stakeholders, including in MyDebtors
- Contribute to various management reports

Contribute to overall cohesion of the Supply Chain Management and the Transaction Banking team, including specifically:
- Act with a positive and pro-active mind set at all times
- Offer assistance, back-up to other team members when required
- Circulate information within APAC and global network, on deals having potential for replication
- Actively collaborate with other members of the TB SEA team to ensure a consistent and coordinated approach for each client relationship, as well as cross selling (cash management, FX)

Permanent Control Aspects:
- Direct contribution to BNPP operational permanent control framework.
- Comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
- Contribute to the reporting of all incidents according to the Incident Management System.

Competencies (Technical / Behavioural)

• Excellent communication skills in person and by phone, excellent presentation skills.
• Logical and analytical skills to drive out solutions.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Some experience in the structuration of SCM solutions preferred
• Ability to deliver within tight timeframes and under pressure.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, across jurisdictions.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and Power Point with a familiarity with dashboards and pivot tables.
• Client focused.

Qualifications and Experience

- Tertiary studies in the Banking / Finance / Legal / Business (Bachelors / Masters Degree in Business / Finance preferred)

Specific Qualifications Required

- Proficient in English (written and spoken), French and any Asian language preferred
