Total Portfolio Management
You will work with the trading desk and managing the execution of trades and transactions from the front execution support to mid and back of settlements, and life cycle events.

What impact can you make in this role?
You will be part of a team that is an integrated investment service team that partners the business in providing services to support public markets investment.

We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and analytical individual with an interest in supporting total portfolio rebalancing to join us as an Associate or Assistant Vice President. The candidate will be part of a team to provide business-focused investment services to enable sharper investment execution in the public markets space. The candidate will work with the investment teams and technology group to ensure timely and accurate rebalancing, trade management and execution. The rebalancing portfolio coverage is global and includes assets such as Equities, Bonds, Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Futures, Collateralised Securities and other derivatives.

What will you do as an Associate/AVP, Rebalancing Operations?

  • Analyse rebalancing data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solution and resolve data issues on a timely basis.
  • Engage portfolio managers and business managers on portfolio rebalancing requirements to incorporate business perspectives.
  • Develop, implement and maintain controls and workflows to ensure quality and timeliness of data.
  • Evaluate new business requirements, propose and build system solutions.
  • Adopt user-empowered tools to produce consistently high-quality and timely rebalancing data to support investment execution.

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?

  • A good Degree in Finance, Accountancy or related fields with at least 3-5 years' relevant working experience in fund management, banking industry or large-scale data analytics
  • Sound knowledge of financial instruments. An additional qualification like CFA will be considered favourably
  • Possess strong analytical and problem solving abilities with an eye for detail
  • Forward thinker who is able to "connect the dots" and appreciate both the big picture and relevant small details
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong learning agility
  • Team player with the willingness to take on new challenges in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • A high level of proficiency in MS Office is required. Exposure to technology such as SQL, Python, Tableau will be an advantage
