The Company
My client is an established Gas company, currently hiring an independent and results-focused Internal Audit talent as a pioneer team member to oversee a regional portfolio.
Requirements
Budget: circa $7,500 - $9,500 per month + Bonus
Job Scope
Reporting to the Regional Managing Director and as an individual contributor, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of financial audits, risk assessment, internal control and review of policies across the region, as well as in providing inputs and driving the development of annual audit plans. This includes documenting and reporting of audit findings and recommendations, as well as training of in-country finance teams on internal control requirements. You will be responsible in evaluating and providing assurance that the company's risk assessment, governance and internal control processes are operating effectively. You will also provide recommendations to management with insights into best practices and in establishing an operation that will further strengthen internal audit effectiveness within the company.
This is a newly created position, and the successful candidate should have an ability to work independently to oversee a regional portfolio.

- Degree qualified with more than 8 years of relevant Audit experience
- Regional exposure
- Demonstrates stable and progressive career track record (Less keen on profiles with job changes every 2-3 years)
- Desired traits: Team player, adaptable, able to work independently as a standalone member in overseeing Regional audit, takes initiative, has a positive attitude, good communication and interpersonal skills
- Language proficiency in English and Chinese, as this role may interact with chinese speaking counterparts
