My client is a key leader in its industry, and is keen to hire a highly driven and hands-on Finance Leader with strong leadership and influencing skills to oversee the full spectrum of Singapore Finance portfolio.

Requirements
  • Experience in overseeing the full spectrum of Finance portfolio - this is a Country Finance role, hence will be handling end to end finance operations and working closely with the business
  • Preference for candidates with FMCG industry exposure, or from large MNCs with multiple business units (familiar with handling large amount of SKUs)
  • Ability to handle inventory management from a cashflow standpoint is important
  • Desired traits: Driven, resourceful, resilient, a problem-solver, nurturing, assertive, strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, team player and a good team leader
  • Strong leadership skills is required (experience in managing a large team can be helpful)
  • SAP experience is ideal

Job ScopeAs the Head of Finance for Singapore, you will be an integral part of the leadership team and overseeing a team of more than 40 indirect staff. Your role will be instrumental in the growth of the company, and it is essential that you can be hands-on in overseeing the end to end Finance function, at the same time strategic to be a strong business partner to Heads of Business Unit, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain and Senior Management on all matters relating to country finance and local business units.

You will be responsible for the overall financial management of Singapore business units, including accounting, controlling, reporting, tax, internal control, audit and in ensuring that the processes and policies are in compliance with company and statutory standards. You will also present consolidated financial reports, manage operating budgets and allocation, capital expenditures, liquidity, working capital, as well as ensure adherence to limits of authority and internal policies to safeguard physical assets and cash. You will be responsible for strategic planning and analysis, business reviews, risk assessment, monitor business performance and address forecast deviation.

Additionally, you will be responsible for cashflow management, developing and implementing investment strategies, cash management practices as well as cost savings initiatives while considering cash and liquidity risks, and ensuring accurate and up-to-date forecasting. You will continually evaluate and review existing processes and systems performance to drive further improvement and efficiencies.
